InfluCollabs takes all types of fraud very seriously. Our mission is to build a trustable place for brands to run influencer marketing campaigns — which means every creator must honour their commitments once a campaign moves forward. If your application has moved to in-progress and you’ve received the product, you must complete the campaign within the deadline mentioned in the app.

What to Do If the Deadline Is Wrong

If the deadline in the app is incorrect — for example, because the product was not received or was delayed — you must contact your campaign manager immediately to either:
  • Extend the deadline, or
  • Update the product status as “not received.”
Do not wait until the deadline passes. Reach out as soon as you notice the discrepancy.

If You Miss the Deadline

If you miss the campaign deadline, you have three options to resolve the situation:
1

Submit Deliverables Within a 48-Hour Extension

You can still submit your deliverables within 48 hours of an extended deadline, provided the extension is mutually agreed upon by both you and your campaign manager.
2

Pay the Product Amount to Settle the Dispute

You can settle the dispute by paying the product amount back to the brand. Ask your campaign manager for the official payment link — only use links shared officially through your campaign manager.
3

Return the Product and Pay Courier Charges

You can return the product and pay the courier charges. Ask your campaign manager for return instructions.
This option is only available if the product is unused and sealed in its original packaging. If the product has been opened or used, you must choose one of the other two options.

Consequences After Deadline + 48 Hours

If the deadline plus the 48-hour extension window has passed without resolution, the following consequences apply:

1. Platform Ban and Partner Network Red Flag

You will be banned from InfluCollabs and we will notify our partner network to red-flag your profile across other influencer marketing platforms.

2. Social Media Reporting

We will report your social media accounts and appeal to Instagram / YouTube citing fraudulent activity. This may result in the loss of your Instagram page or other social accounts.

3. Legal Action

We will inform the brand about the dispute and proceed with legal obligations on their behalf. This may result in a legal notice, court hearings, and even a bank account freeze.
These consequences are serious and irreversible. Once initiated, they cannot be rolled back even if you attempt to complete the campaign afterwards. Always communicate proactively with your campaign manager if you’re facing genuine issues.
If you’re facing an unavoidable delay — illness, family emergency, technical issues — reach out to your campaign manager before the deadline. In most cases, a genuine reason can be accommodated with an extension or an alternative resolution.
